| This is the room that is mine. I would have wanted my room stone, as a true castle, however it was not to be. Nor did it make any sense. I did not expect company, but come on in. I will be writing if you should need me. |
This is probably the cleanest and emptiest room in the entire upstairs. The walls are a deep blood red and the carpet a pure white.
The old-style bed is pushed as far away from the door as it can possibly be while still leaving space for someone to walk on both sides. A thick, fluffy, warm looking comforter covers the bed while evidence of white sheets stick out from the edges of the covering. Two small pillows in white pillowcases sit neatly at the head of the bed.
There is one small table under the window across from the bed, holding a simple tape player and several tapes. One has nothing but ABGZK written on it and the other is a tape of Peter and the Wolf. There is also a copy of The King and I. Under the tape player is a shelf constructed for a single book- The Bible, translated in Russian.
The only other piece of furniture in the room is the large stone desk. Placed in front of the door, but leaving plenty of space for people to pass through two at a time, it goes well with the bed somehow. On the desk are several colorful ink containers and a beautiful, old-style calligraphy pen. To one side is a poem, with a hand drawn border around the beautifl lettering. Resting on top of the poem is a single, tiny, dellicate rose that shines as the light catches it.
On the desk are pictures and from the desk you can look out the window.
| I have completed my work now. You may follow me to the exit that will lead you to the other rooms. |
