The most obvious thing about the room is the fact that the walls seem to be papered with pictures of all kinds. It is very hard to tell the color
behind all of the pictures and posters. And almost as hard to walk around
without hitting your head on something hanging from the ceiling.
Well you've reached my room...
She stops whatever she's doing, as if suddenly remembering she has company, and turns her attention to you.
This used to be the pink room but I hate pink even if I was stuck with the color. It's what I get for letting everyone else pick first.
She shrugs and continues.
My real color is a turquoise color but a mistype of "Pink Room" turned into "Ink Room" and Derg looked at it and said "That's you." Didn't take me too long to agree with her, we do think alike. I'm the one with all the pens.
She smiles, lets out a little laugh and indicates the room.
Please, look around while I set this up...
The bed is in the corner and holds a small collection of stuffed animals. There are multiple sheets and blankets making the coverings look very warm and fluffy and nice to snuggle in. There is a Rainbow Brite sheet as the base sheet with a rainbow sheet, unicorn sheet, and two different Care Bears sheets, all underneath a fluffy Lion King blanket. And on top of it all is a Star Trek pillow.
There is a table near the bed that contains various types of incense and multiple candles from glitter candles to large candles smelling of apple and vanilla. Next to them is a book open to a page on what scent will bring certain spirit guides to you.
Across the room, under the window is a desk that holds various things that look to be rather unimportant. But fairly obviously the pictures have the most sacred place. On one side of the desk is a deep blue, fold out futon that looks to be splattered with pink, purple, deep red, green and brown paint. On the other side is a chest of drawers, top covered in still more framed pictures surrounding a stereo system.
Suddenly you hear a quiet ahem.
